Jim Sproston (Owner & Crew Leader)
After qualifying as a tree surgeon from Brooksby College in 2012, Jim gained valuable experience working in Leicestershire for both private and public sector tree care companies while continuing to study in his spare time. In 2015 Jim noticed a gap in the market for a professional tree care company providing a reliable, knowledgeable and approachable service, hence the creation of Budding Tree Care.
Andrew Mungovin (Groundsman & Trainee Climber)
Andrew joined Budding Tree Care in 2017 with little experience of tree care but a keen willingness to learn. Since then he has gained a LANTRA technical award in wood chippers and is scheduled to take the NPTC CS38 qualification in November 2018, this will allow him safely climb trees and perform aerial rescue.

Jim did a great job of reducing the size of our huge cherry tree and was so tidy I almost didn't realise he'd been!

Jim did a great job with our horse chestnut - turned up on times and was quick and efficient and also a lovely chap. He even chopped the logs down to stove burning size.
